And The Good News Is…

We’re home!

ZJ is happy to be home...

Still not 100% sure what he has, but they switched us to an oral antibiotic that’s known for working for what they’re assuming it is and let us come home since it’ll be a few days before they know for sure. He’ll be on the stuff for 2 weeks though and we get to see his pedi next week to make sure everything is going the way it should.

So happy to be home… Not complaining about the hospital, it is nice for a hospital. There were a lot of good things about it. But it got old fast too. Just the whole cooped up and being in a hospital thing. And seeing my baby uncomfortable… He did pretty well, was even dancing around and smiling and stuff through most of it, but the iv bothered him a lot (finally stopped pulling on it today) and he wanted to get down and move around.

Since I know some of you aren’t on facebook I’ll post a few of the pics I took over the last few days here at the bottom too. I need to get to bed soon though, so tired.

Waiting on the ER room bed... This was after the ultrasound when he'd calmed down from everything.

Tanned little foot... Was trying to get a shot of his iv and the thing they put on his toe... The toe thing got pulled off pretty quicklyFriday morning... all smiles

Friday morning... all smiles

Just after we found out we'd go home soon... He was more than ready

    Hey Mama K!
I hope ZJ is doing well, I’d seen your updates on Twitter, but hadn’t had time to stop over to your blog. Spending time with a baby in the hospital must be so nerve wracking! Hugs to you all!
